Hi folks. My Allroad seems to be getting through tyres rather quickly - less than a year (at about 12k miles) and I need a new set. I've had two lots of the Pirelli Allroad. Currently Dunlop SP Sport, but they are wearing just as fast. The wheels have had a full alignment on each tyre change. Any recommendations for better-lived tyres welcomed! (I know, I know, if I never went above 50mph they would no doubt last longer, but hey... )

    Hi,
I would try posting in the a6/ALLROAD forum where you'll probably get a better response.
Being a heavy vehicle i wouldn't expect the tyres to last particularly long although road tyres will no doubt last longer than the standard fitment items.
I've currently got the pirelli allroads fitted as i tow a horsebox and occasionally venture off road.I can't coment on wear rate but they seem quite adequate for the job if a little noisy at speed.

Hi djl - thanks for reply. Can't see the a6/ALLROAD forum - or is it a separate website?

    Thanks!

It's on this website just a couple of lines further down from the Quattro section.

    just noticed your post.
i have had two allroads, with goodyear allroad tyres on it, 12 k is nothing, i manage to get minimum 25 k.
Put tyres on my present allroad at 30 K now at 57 K still ok.
May i suggest that your four wheel alingment is checked and corrected.

    Cheers loopie6
