I added a rear boot spoiler to my A6. I sourced it from a German tuning place on e-bay and painted myself and fitted it to the car. Huge improvement- highly recommend others do the same.

I've also really only made subtle changes, a full set of mudflaps, 'Audi' chrome tax disc holder, silver 'Audi' number plate surrounds, a centre arm rest, boot mounted 6 disc CD changer.

Hope that gives you a couple of ideas...

The best looks for bucks mod you can do is a set of larger rims (bigger is better but in my opinion anything over 18" is venturing into the silly domain unless they are a set of killer rims. Id advise a set of Audi or VW origional style or a nice set of BBS. The next step is to drop the car a couple of mm's. These two combined can make a car look alot more appealing. Dont go crazy with bodykits. Less is more in this department. Stay away from vents and sticky outy bits. Keep with lines of the car, round and muscely e.g an R32 kit. If exhausts are you're thing, then a twin exit always goes down well on VAG's but nothing to Japish. The best thing for you to do is to google some pics of other bora's and see what catches you're fancy. Modding is personal prefference. And I agree, subtle changes add up to make a real head-turner.

If it has a full service history and not ragged aroud by the previous owner then it should have a few more years in it. The VAG deisel is a strong engine. Just make sure to look after it and keep the service schedule in check. Also dont skimp on cheap oil. The extra quid is well worth it. Best of luck with you're bora and post some pics if you make any mods. The guys here are always intrested

I've fitted a set of 16" golf montreal II wheels to the bora, made all the difference.

There's a few other small things I wanna do but nothing wild
