ok, i have a concert + bose setup in my a4 cab. im thinking uf upgrading the stereo to add bluetooth functions, and possibly usb mem stick playback. there are several routes im thinking about. all work out similar cost.

    1. nokia CK-300 car kit, interfaced to concert head unit. with a possible addition of the xcarlink usb/car/aux adaptor thingy.

    pros: keeps oem stereo.
cons: mp3 file structure is a little awkward, no file name display.

    2. nokia ck-300 kit + alpine 9884 head unit.

pros: plays anything, does eveything. good times
cons: loses oem had unit, will probably stand right out in cabin.

    3. alpine 9884 head unit + alpine BT unit.

pros: as above, but the phone compatability might be a bit limited.
cons: as above, no separate phone controls.

    so, anyone got any experience/advice?

whats the alpine + alpine BT unit like to use a phone with? i have the nokia N95, and i think the compatability is pretty much just to answer/end calls. can anyone give experience of this combination?

    thanks all

    how about one of these

For your USB and then add a parrot kit for your hands free - if you go for the MK6100 you can play music from any bluetooth device through your standard car stereo

That way you have your usb connection, your bluetooth hands free, the option to play from any other bluetooth device and you keep the standard look of the car.

Although personally I would go for the Alpine unit but then I dont keep standard stereos for more than five minutes anyway
