You've lost your immobiliser code and your immobiliser is on! Do you pay VW or do you re-code keys yourself?

Post your success with vag-tacho =)

1: Vehicle name? Vehicle age? engine type?

2: Was it able to read your code?

    3: Success re-coding keys?

    Ooh, good news.

How much did you pay for the lead and software - I presume it worked out a lot less than one trip to the dealer?

    1. Bora TDI 115
    2. Yes it read the Code
    3. Yes and No. I just couldn't code the spare blank key. Infact I uncoded my only set, it took a short while to re-code it.

I wasn't completely sure of the procedure, was just trial and error. Used the code in both Vag Tacho and also VAG COM. Have given up since
