Hi. Has anybody experience of using a Sealey VS862 code reader for Volkswagon/Audi vehicles. They seem to be on a good offer at the moment and am thinking of buying. Thanks.

For the price (~£160 from what I can see), if you have a laptop, I'd highly recommend a fully registered version of VAG-COM from www.ross-tech.com.

If you don't have a laptop, then this looks like a good second place, though I've not used this particular one myself.

Considering selling my VCDS KEY-USB interface. If you're interested please contact me via PM or email.

If you don't have a laptop, then a refurbished one can be bought from a computer shop for about £100. This is what I did and its the only way now to get a laptop with a serial port (which I prefer to USB). I did look on a well-known internet site, but asking prices seemed very high for what I was looking for. So my total outlay for computer + serial cable + VagCom was about £175. And I have a laptop to play with.
