    Hi

My 2006 1.9 TDi Sharan seems to get through oil rather quickly (seems to need top up after 2500 to 3000 miles).

Serviced by dealer back in May and yesterday the oil warning light came on, after less than 3000 miles covered. Assuming here the dealer filled her correctly during service.

Similar issue 3+ months after buying the car (2nd hand from different dealer).

We only cover around 800 miles per month.

Is this normal for a Tdi ? Being thirsty on the Oil ?
