I went out to the car yesterday after some serious storms over the weekend and the passender footwell and rear LH passenger footwell are nearly an inch deep in water, when I drove down a hill, the Mrs heard some water trickling from somewhere in the back.

No water at all in the boot, the car was parked on a hill forward facing, no apparent water coming in from the front.

Doors were properly closed as was the boot.

There is a piece of door trim missing externally from the middle of the door, leaving a couple of holes where the trim connects to the door, but I'm sure all that water couldn't have got in through those wholes.

Only had the car a few weeks

Do you have a sunroof? If so the drain holes can become blocked. best way to clear is to use a length of the wire used for net curtains to poke gently down the holes to clear. They are at the front corners of the sunroof and drain down to the wheel arches.

Or, the front scuttle can get blocked by leaves and debris. Remove the black trim at the bottom of the windscreen and clear muck from the scuttle. If the drains are blocked bad enough the water can get in through the fresh air intake (pollen filter). It is a pain to remove the black plastic "buttons" to remove the scuttle cover. I just pull them up and off. Slide the middle cover strip section to the drivers side to remove the NS section (where the pollen filter is)

I've poked a long curtain wire down the holes and they're all unblocked, it seems like the water is coming in from the back somewhere and then running to the front footwell, I can't see any sign of where the water is coming in.
