Hi there, i keep getting a fault code via vag com from my A4 1.8T 2002 about a secondary air flow solenoid valve.

Does anybody know anything about this?

A friend of mine had a similar prob with his Seat Leon, it has the same 1.8T engine as my Audi, he added some injector cleaner twice and that cleared it, i have tried this but the engine management light keeps coming on every month or so and the same code keeps appearing again.

Where is this valve? is there a fix or will i have to replace it?

    Andy

Probably a split in one of the small air lines - no easy way to test which one, but you can bet it will be the least accessible/last one you try....had mine at the dealers for 2 days while they looked for it....still under warranty back then.....

It's the small yellow ones where you can see them - some have a fabric? covering.....and they are all over the place!! My leak was at the back of the head...so the invoice says....
