S-Line Suspension Versus Standard

Hello All,

I have a 04 A4 1.8T. It is just the standard version. First off I found someone selling a set of S-Line Springs. Will these drop my car by much or are they the same as the standard springs. Does the S-Line model have different shocks too?

Also there is another person in Dublin selling 18" Audi TT alloys. They look immaculate and are described as Audi RS4 9 spoke original. Will wheels that fit an Audi TT fit onto an A4.

I think the audi TT alloys should fit... only diffrence i know of is the tyre width... normal a4 is 235 audi TT is 225, dosent really make a noticable diffrence 2 b honest

If they are genuine Audi wheels from a TT then they won't fit. But if they are reps then they'll most probably be multi-fit and thus would probably fit an A4. I could be wrong in thinking that the S-line suspension is the same as the sports, in which case it's slightly stiffer and 15mm lower than standard.

Think the offset is different on the TT and A4.

Thought the s line and sport suspension is 30mm lower??

Will I get away with using S-Line spings on the standard shocks though?

I was under the impression the S line springs are 20mm lower than standard. however, was told that there are several different S line springs ranging in different drop levels.

I too would like to know if the shorter S line springs can work with OE shocks. understand life of the longer OE shock will be reduced.

the sport/s-line includes a unique damper and coil package. Id recomend both.
