A4 avant 130 tdi boost problems now it wont start?

firstly hello everyone, great site sure i will find losts of interesting posts on here.

Went to a mates house today and just as i pulled into his street my car didnt seem to have any turbo boost which i didnt think anything of but came to re start the car 5 mins later and it just turns over and wont start, alarm and imob seems ok and the lift pump is working so other than the main fuel pump does anyone have any idea what it is or has anyone had this problem??

Hi Avantben,
Only time my 130 tdi wouldn't start was when the fuel pump relay failed. Its in the ecu compartment on the drivers side just in front of the windscreen!

did you have any problems with the turbo boost???

No turbo problems at all, the problem was caused by heavy rain causing the plenium chamber to flood and drown the fuel pump relay! Only reason why I replied was that prior to the complete failure the engine power output was much reduced which could have been confused with turbo failure. VAG com will tell you if you have a fuel pump problem if you have it.

ye it was just a massive lack of power but only seemed in the turbo range. i will be getting it on vag com on monday and see what it says
