PMSL! funniest thing I've seen... A VR6 TDI!?!!

If it is a 2001 TDI it is likely to be

    PD100 - ATD
    PD130 - ASZ
Possibly a 110 tdi, which I think is ALH.

Better check the engine code again.

EDIT: I've done some googling for the Passat S - and it appears it came with a 130bhp engine, so I'd bet its the ASZ engine, or some other pd130 engine code - if there is one?

AVB engine code= 74Kw/100 Hp. Its PD(pump unit) engine. I suspect the "Module" you bought its just a "RESISTOR-IN-A-BOX" thing, that will make your ECU think the outside temperature its low and will force engine to run rich so expect a decrease in performance/mpg ! Get a good chip/tunning box from a good tuner or a engine remap as its better value for money and you will really feeel the difference !
