Symphony Aux In

Got a Symphony (I ? - 6CD + cassette) stereo in my (soon to be received) 06 A3 and wondered if I can connect up an Aux in socket via the multiplug. Has anyone done this or got a pin-out of the multiplug ? - or is it only available on the Symphony II ?

If you can do it I take it the head unit must sense when there's something connected and automatically switch to it cos I'm not aware of a switch to go from CD/cassette/radio/Aux In ?

So the Symphony - seems mines a II then - has a separate socket at the back for an external CD multichanger as well as having the internal multichanger ?

What's the 'AS' button on the headunit for ? Auxiliary Source selection ? (Sorry for the qu - haven't got a manual yet)

AS I think is Auto Store, or Auto Search, i think it scans the radio waves and stores 6 or so stations for you.
