    hi, i have 98 passat 1.9 tdi,
    i need to change my rear axle bushing, and this looks like it is holding by 3 bolt and the thin rod go through the bushing, wondering if i take off the 3 bolt and remove the rod , am i be able to take off the axle bushing without remove the axle???
    p.s. the DIY's rear axle bushing looks diffrent then my one and i m still waiting for the repair manual for last 3 weeks

    Hi. Just wondered how you got on doing this job as I need to do the ones on my passat. How do you re align the bushes so that the rear tracking stays correct?
