Does anyone if it's possible to make the windows close when you lock the car off of the fob (55 Bora 1.9TDI).

I know you can make them open and close by turning (and holding) the key in the drivers door (in the lock/unlock position respectivly)

Would be a nice feature to have.....

    Thanks in advance

    Nick

If you go to someone that has vag com with a can-bus interface and read the FAQ on rosstech website or openobd, then i believe he can do that but i am not shure of it 100%. Failling that, visiting a dealer might help as somme bits needs changing in the codding of the CCM module. Its easy to enable that on audi's models but not 100% shure on vw...Check first on tdiclub if its possible on your particullar model as most of the americans vave a vag-com diagnostic and they are willing to play with their toys/cars as well !

If you have the "highline" computer in your dash, you can tweak/enable it. Ignition has to be on and car needs to be stationary though.

Otherwise, as Adamss24, says - the "Convenience Module", accessed by the proper kit at a VW/Audi dealer, or by using vag-com. You can alter it to open the windows as well as closing them - pretty handy on a black car on the summer - press and hold the unlock button on the remote 'til the windows have dropped all the way, wait 30 seconds or so for all that stored heat to escape . You can also program it to close (but not open) the sunroof if you have one.

    Rgds
