    Apologies for assuming that you used Gates' software, we all know that other (and better) OSs are available, like you I'm forced to use XP at work.

    I'd much rather use Linux or Mac OS X

    Still younger than me .. just.

    I am a Systems Admin (UNIX), but really don't mind Windows at all. You see I only have to use it not support/fix it My job is a doddle, because UNIX & Linux are stable and easy. Mind you Windows is reasonably stable now too but all those buttons you have to push is sooo confusing. There is nothing like a CLI essay of words to type

    Agree with you on UNIX (I'm a Test Manager), but I've used Mac OS at home for a number of years with a PowerBook G3 running 266Mhz and 192 MB of RAM, and it's still quicker than a XP machine, especially running graphical programs like Photoshop
