    Hi Guys

It is probably because I'm heavy handed but I can't open the glove compartment on my 05 A4. The lever will open but it is not engaging with the lock- really irritating.

Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?

    Cheers

    Stu

    found you this

Same happened to me in an A4.
open the pasenger door. at the end of the dash there is a panel that comes off with a small screw driver, take off panel to expose the glovebox and in the top right there is the catch for the glovebox, press that in with the screw driver and you glovebox should open. you then undo the screws on the top of the glove box until it falls out, then you can unscrew the lock fron the right hand side and replace.
its simple enough you just need 3 hands to put it back together.
and 2 screws at bottom of glovebox
