Without warning both indicators and hazard warning lights on my 98 1.8T saloon have completely failed.
All other electrics are working fine. Can anyone shed any light on whats going on???

Check fuses first, if they are ok, then you might need to replace the hazard relay switch- about 15 +Vat from Euro Car parts.

My 97 A3 1.8T has just experienced exactly the same problem.

From other forums I think the hazard relay switch is behind the radio?

    Can anyone clarify?

The relay is built on to the back of the switch, it is one unit. slide out the switch and the relay comes with it. A very common problem
