    Default 2004 mk5 1.6 fsi – 01-06-2008,11:38 PM
    im currently making small modifications to my mk5 1.6fsi golf and would like to get a cold air feed induction kit for it but i wouldnt touch k&n with a bardge pole. i cant seem to find pipercross kits for my car. does anyone know where to get a kit from?will i have to go to a specailist german site as i did for my exhaust? also would i be able to lower my car by 35mm while having 17" gti alloys on?

    Hi Tom.

    To be honest I would rather have a Kand N on a Golf compared to the Pipercross purely due to the oil used on the Pipercross can mess up your AMM!!
    Not 100% sure about the drop, but as the GT and GTI are lowered on 17's and 18's from the factory, 35mm with 17's should be ok, but would wait and see if someone has actually done it can give you some info.
