    Default Oil Pressure/Red Oil Light – 01-06-2008,07:58 PM
    Hi

    I was driving along at about 40 Mph and my Oil Liight lit up Red and the computer was beeping asking me to stop, it was nothing to do with it being at a low level as I just topped up the oil. The check engine light is now on permenantly but the red oil light has gone.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for your swift reply, I have read your excellent advise all around this board. If only I would have know you earlier with all the problems I have had with this blasted Golf.
