    Hello,

Picking up my car tomorrow and cant wait but when talking to the owner he said his missus was getting low 30's mpg around town and after having a search around i see the the MAF can sometimes cause this drop along with driving styles obviously.
So thinking ahead i was going to have a look around the net for some for sale but needed a part number to start with?
Its a 04/53 if anyone has any answers Could always try the Main Dealer but wasn't sure as i was not planning on buying from them.

Probably just worrying about getting a new car the car has sat nav but no trip so you cant keep an eye on MPG.

The MAF is attached to the air tube with 2 torx screws. It's easy to take out and clean with electrical contact cleaner. If that doesn't help then you will want to replace it. Just a thought before you go spending money

If its the Audi Sat Nav plus with the colour dis in between the clocks then to get the mpg showing you go into the setup menu for your sat nav and knock off "compass". Its what I did with mine as I wanted to keep an eye on mpg
