black metel bits holding in glass in rear window..

mine are quite eroded, is this possible and easy to replace, as its part of the window frame?

Door cards off, door inner panel and window mechanisms with lock units out, glass out and then remove the guide (or middle carrier as it is also known).

The little filler piece is £7 and nearly as much work to fit.

jesus, its something i want done, but cant do myself. i suppose it would cost me a bomb at a dealership

I would say it’s about an hour and a half per side so at dealership rates of £100 an hour I would find a specialist but you are still looking at £150 for labour.
