    Door cards off, door inner panel and window mechanisms with lock units out, glass out and then remove the guide (or middle carrier as it is also known).

    The little filler piece is £7 and nearly as much work to fit.

    I would say it’s about an hour and a half per side so at dealership rates of £100 an hour I would find a specialist but you are still looking at £150 for labour.
