touareg v10

Hi m8s I am going to get a touareg next year but cant decide on the model v6 diesel or v10 just a bit worried about fuel consumption what are the true figures on the v10 ? iv'e heard there not THAT BAD!! I currently drive a grand cherokee 2.7 crd

In an ideal world i would take the v10 Tdi, i am shure wont do less tan 20Mpg driven sensibly ! But in the real world, the v6 Tdi does hgh 20/low 30 average, so not bad at all !

No sir, i do drive an a4 2.5 Tdi quattro, on wich i have transplanted a 3.0L block mated to AKE cylinder heads and i reckon it pushes over 240 Bhp but averages 27Mpg driven like a granny... I had it off the clock many times, the power is addictive !

I have a 2.5 Touareg and am averageing 29 mpg, although have managed up to 38 on a steady run. May I refer you to www.mytreg.com; a search on that site will answer any questions you may have aboutany Touareg variant.
