I am going to fit aftermarket parking sensors to the rear of my 2006 s line
    saloon.

Hi, I'd like to know how to do this too, but first of all, what kind of parking sensors to buy....

What have you gone for out of interest?

I thought these were standard fit on the S Line models? Mine has them at front and back. Can you get hold of original Audi ones? They would fit best I guess.

You can get an OEM PDC retrofit kit from pretty much any Audi dealer. I don't know how much it will cost over there, but here in Finland it's roughly around 350EUR or about 280GBP.

    Hi
    thanks for responses
parking sensors are optional on some s line models,
the Audi dealer was not very interested, thats why I am looking elsewhere,

Cobra do a set that look good quality, probably best to avoid cheap sets on ebay,

I am competant diy-er, so instalation would not be a problem,
just any advice on trouble-free rear bumper removal would be helpful.

    thanks for any advice

This is the complete kit from Kufatec @ €429 also looks like they'll paint them to suit too.

    hi there.
i just bought (11 May) an 05 A4 S line and have been looking into this the last couple of days.
At Audi Lincoln some time ago i saw a flyer saying it was £249 fitted, i rang them Friday and was told that was for a new car, if they retro fit them it will cost me £370.
Yesterday i spoke to Doncaster and Chesterfield who quoted £454 and £458 respectively.
I have seen the kit on vagparts.com (I think) for £180.

Hi,I got my A4 S line almost two weeks ago and enquired about fitting rear parking sensors at Bradford Audi, they advised that they don't do it but use a place called Audio Images in Bradford to do all such work. Audio Images quoted me £235.00 painted and fitted, apparently they do a fair bit of this work for Audi, VW, Merc and Skoda.I'm considering it, my brother who also recently purchased a new car (BMW 118) is also thinking about it so I've suggested we try to broker a deal for both cars.Good luck
