I had a look at an A4 3.0 TDI S-Line at my local Audi Dealer today. Looks great! However, I noticed that the MMI control button is not on the gear-stick console but on the facia area below the CD player. I didn't expect that as all the official photos I've seen to date show it on the gear-stick console. It doesn't bother me but has anyone else been surprised at this?

NOt me. Its on the dashboard for standard cars, and near the gear stick if you have sat nav, I think.

Mine is on the dash where I was expecting it.

    Hope this helps

Bloater is correct, the MMI is in the middle of the dash. I sat in mine in the showroom compound yesterday & asked the same question.

Also I asked about the funny triangle thingy on the rear of the roof. That is also for sat nav.
It was well worth "patiently" for A4 SE 2.0TDI Multitronic in Aruba Blue.
