no car/year of make details, no product name details, and your very first thread too....

    what a shame

firstly, more info will be needed for anyone to help you

and secondly, there is always the search button Ben/golfmk5gttdi has done a big writeup on this very subject, perhaps you should check it out

    hi there,i just bought myself a 99 audi a3.
ive just bought angel eyes for it but im wondering why it has an empty space in the outside corner(beside the indicator bulb)for a light i presume, but it came with no fittings or instruction..i know the black and red wires are to wire in the halos for the sidelights im just wondering about this space...
my front bumper has foglights attached so is it to do with a foglight?
    any suggestions are appreciated
    thanks

the little bulb you have is basically just that, a bulb, its white in colour and comes on with the rings.

the rings need wiring into your sidelights for your original headlights

    I think on VAG

Brown from car to BLACK wire on rings

GREY on car to RED wire on rings.

Personally I prefer FK angel eyes becuase they come with instrucktions and are litterraly plug and play.

simply disconnect the wire feeding the main side light then. You might have to test which connections are which if the manufacturer of the angel eyes was too cheap to bother with labelling which red wire is which.

I expect the reds are separate feeds for each of the separate light units, and the blacks are all earths for them. Connect all the blacks to earth, and connect the reds individually until you find which lights come on for which wire. Then just connect the reds for the lights you want to work.

BTW. I hope they is blue culurd LED angel eyes. i saw sum on a car the uver day an thay was wel wikd. really matched the lexarse rear lights an all.
