    If any one can help please, i had an iol leak on the oil feed pipe to the turbo the car ran fine but there was a drip of oil everytime i parked up so took it to the garage they put a new pipe on,and when i pulled out of the gargage there was hardly any power and lots of white smoke the garage says they think its the turbo which is going to cost a fortune any help would be great cheers by the way it a vw sharan 1.9tdi 110 se

    That certainly sounds like turbo failure but it should not have expired due to a small oil leak. I think you should take it somewhere else for further investigation in case the other garage has made a mistake that has caused the failure.

    hello im looking for a turbo ive seen one on ebay , i sked the seller if it would fit mine he did not know does anyone know if it will fit mine heres the link

    That fits Sharan 1.9 TDI with the AFN engine from approx chassis number wvwzzz7MzWV031001 to wvwzzz7MzYV005000 so roughly 10/97 to 6/99 production.

    had same problem with my sharan 1.9tdi(115bhp),managed to get recon unit locally,but it cost me large ££££&is a pain to fit if you dont know what you are doing..
