Hi there just a completely non motoring different question, a friend has recommended this kitchen company to me http://www.alphabespokekitchens.co.uk/

Which as you can see have a nice website and a fully registered company, I've had a quote from them the owner himself visited me to talk about the job and I'm so impressed I ordered on the spot, but when I put the company into Google or Yahoo nothing shows up any idea's please?

    Not sure.

I typed "Alpha Bespoke" and "Alpha bespoke kitchens" into Google and got a few relevant results.

Yes it come up with a few but not the one I'm looking at.

How do Google and Yahoo find where to put the things we want to look for?

What's doing me is that this company looks great but with no leads from outside if I didn't already have the website address then I don't see how I could find the company.

There must be loads of car shops that I can't find because Google and Yahoo for some reason don't list them.

How did VWAF forum get going was it word of mouth or is there something I don't know?

I just assumed it was that Google had the details of everything but know it makes me wonder how much more I'm missing when I do my searches.

Thanks for the help guys and if anyone knows how it all works please let us know.

    Here is start.

You can ask for your web site to added to a search engine, or at least you could on most for free providing it is a non profit making site.

Robots or web crawlers seek out web pages an index them. If Alpha bepsoke do not have a web site or domain then they are then relying on a company listing engine like yell.com or upmystreet.co.uk etc.

I would not worry about it just because they don't apprear on the web.

Just go to google and enter:- malcqv I am famous and all over, but would you buy anything off me
