  1. Question EGR quickie.

    Guys,
    Pulled pipe off end of EGR valve ,engine off and cold and b/fly is open.
    Is this the correct position ?

    if you just want to test it use a hand vacuum pump to simulate operation. Open position should be normal as there is no vacuum applied the valve and with the motor off there are no exhaust gases to recirculate.

    No,looking into actual EGR valve-anti shudder is the black piece on side i believe?
