    Hi.

Been over this afew times..but here goes.

Mk4 Golf GTi Turbo (T-Reg). It was 170bhp holding 14psi (Superchipped), which was all done by the previous owner, and had a Baileys dump valve.

Decided to go for a remap, went with a guy called Chris Wells (CC Tuning), and said I wanted 200bhp. He said the remap would make it 195bhp, and fitting the N75J from a TT would make it hold boost longer, taking it to 205bhp running 20psi approx.

Had it all done, and it did feel a bit quicker...but it never felt 200bhp quick. Took it for a RR and it was doing 170bhp at about 14psi! The same as before I spent £350 on it.

So...took it back to the guy who did it. Ran it though his laptop, we changed the MAF...no change, put the old N75 back on...it felt slower (a sign of it functioning as intended), cleaned the throttle body...no change, checked the air filter...good condition, and checked for leaks as well as we could without having ramps. Nothing made a difference.

Then we noticed the baileys dump valve was open still whilst at half throttle. So he recommended a forge thinking that would solve it. £100 for the forge...still no better.

SO...took it to ADC diagnostics in Bulwell, thinking well failing everything else, there must be an airleak (i'm sure I can hear hissing)....guess what....nothing! Says he can't find anything.

So...Chris from CC Tuning is gonna come with me to ChippedUK on saturday, but if they're just gonna look for airleaks...I don't think much will come of it.

    Any ideas anyone, PLEASE???

I just really want to get it sorted now.

    Thanks again.

Could any of the following be responsible for the problems i'm having?

    - Thrust sensor / MAP Sensor
    - PCV valve
    - Actuator
    - N249 Diverter valve control solenoid

I've already checked or replaced N75J, Dump Valve, Mass Airflow/Air Mass Sensor and Coolant temp sensor.

I've also had a garage have a "quick" look over it at the weekend and they couldn't find any obvious air leaks.

I'm running out of options now! And money! lol.

Your help as always is greatly appreciated.

    Cheers
