    Hey guys, i know a lot of people have given the ipod prep a bad rep but i have one in my golf now and i want to keep hold of it instead of giving it back to VW as i am getting another golf, GT TDI 170, . Does anyone know how to remove the radio because i can't see any obvious was of removing it.

    cheers for those links. just managed to get the radio out and unplug everything, apart from the bloody brown wire. do you know of any easy way of getting it out. just spent an hour trying to pick it out. grrr

    I guessed that from all the Walk throughs i've been looking at. anywho, I got the earth wire out now. well actually, went to see my nice people at VW who did it for me, for free!!!! Nice of them. so now everthing is out of my old car ready for the new GT TDI. Yay
