Non Audi/VW Owner... hey

Hi People.

Thought I would introduce myself to everybody seeing how I plan on sticking about the forum for a while and pick up some tips n hints on what I am looking for. Firstly I'm Mark, also part of the Admin team over at Fiat-Scotland.com.

Currently have a Fiat Punto Mk2 1.2 8v (my first car which has been my pride and joy for almost 2 years) and due to growing up a bit and getting a "real-job" I am looking to upgrade the car in the next few months.

I have my heart pretty much set on an Audi A3 1.9/2.0 TDi in either black or the kinda charcoal grey colour Audi do - but still not 100% certain.

Thanks in advance for all the advice I shall be asking for

Hey thanks for the welcome people.

Going to sit in silence for a bit and take not of what problems/praise comes up about the a3, not sure what I can realistically afford at the moment (looking about £9k max).

well... the Price of the Audi A3 is going to drop this year (2007) as a lot of them are now coming upto 3 years old... so you will be able to buy more for your money!!
