Hi, can anyone tell me why you have to click the button twice on your key to open all the doors on the car?
It is so annoying when friends go to get in the car when they here the click, and none of the door handles work until I click again !!

    Hi There,

The reason for this is simple.. Anti Hi-Jack and safety..

    For example...

Its a dark evening in a car park, you are walking towards your car and you what the security of only opening the drivers door as your not sure if there is a person hiding around the other side of your car waiting to jump into and rob you when you open the car doors....

    Cheers

ps.. you can amend this via VAG-COM, so one click opens all doors..
