advice on buying 2005 a3 tdi sport

I'm thinking of buying a friends company car from him, its a 2005 2.0tdi a3 140bhp sport. It has been well looked after with full audi service history, it has all the toys including sat nav and full red leather, but it has done 90k miles.
I was hoping for some advice on things to look out for when buying.

Hello, did you end up buying this car? If so how was it? Thinking of buying this car on Sunday, has done 100k miles.

Yeah, has been a great car. Still have it infact with over 150k on it now. Couple of problems with air con and some age / milage related items like bushes, but all in all a great car that's powerful enough, returns 55+ mpg on a motorway run and is still good looking. Had a 2004 a4 tdi, but the 1.9. Was also a great car, though not as powerful as the 2.0tdi, and didn't return as good mpg. Maybe down to added weight but probably down to the older engine design.
