    Default A3 drivers door – 06-05-2008,09:59 PM
    Hi, i`m having problems with the drivers door on my Audi A3, even when the door is shut the door open indicator on the dash is lighting up to say the door is open some times it goes away if i reopen the door shut it other times i just stays on no matter how many times i shut the door, which also means that the interior light stays on. Anyone got any ideas how to fix it please or even point me in the right direction to look please

    ill be quick as iam going to bed,the micro switch in the door lock is opencircuit.You need a new door lockor the wire from the switch to the dash is opencircuit but 99% of the time its the lock
    vag diagnostics, retrofits and general repairs
