    Hi all
have a 2001 1.6se golf with sandy cream upholstery interior, and this is very difficult to maintain!

wanted to upgrade to full sandy cream leather interior
anyone know the best way to do this?
I wouldnt mind upgrading to heated seats as well if its feasible.
    Can't find much on Ebay
do you know any websites or 2nd hand dealers?
do i need to change the entire seats or can i get covers?
    i'll need front+rear seats(2 head rests in rear)+arm rest+door trims(+dash switches for heater)

    would appreciate your expert advice
    thanks

I'd get them re-trimmed myself. Had my Mercedes A class done and very happy with it. see the other thread entitled Leather retrimmers.

    there are 3 options really,

hunt down a scrapped high end mk4 , rip the leather seats from it (i think the seats from an A3 may fit, with some modification)

there's the eBay option of course...

or there is the retrim, which i personally, would go for.....

What exactly do you mean by 'retrim'? and how do i go about doing this? how much did it cost for your mercedes?
what ebay options were you talking about, is it the generic leather covers you can get?
