Dimpsport Rapid tuning box

Evening all!

Anyone have any info, reviews or opinions on the Dimsport Rapid tuning box. I read about this in an old Golf magazine which the drive raved about the performance he got from it.

I've contact Dimsport who are based in Italy http://web.dimsport.com/site/?DS=&lang=en and they got me on contact with a UK seller. The model for mine, 1.9TDi 115BHP with a 20% power/torque increase is £500 (inc VAT)....ouch!

I've always liked the idea of a tuning box as it can be easily removed if you decided to sell the car etc......but I appriciate I could get my car remapped for much less.

www.tdi-tuning.co.uk i think thats the right address do a tuning box for £140. Don't know what there like but for that money you can't complain

I've just emailed tdi-tuning to check what connector the analgue £140 box comes with. They've replied with a price of the digital tuning box for £380 which does not plug into the MAF.

in other words the one they quote on the net is a rip off- just resister in a box

The price above for the ditital unit was wrong, its actually £320 which is rather good, incomparison to Dimsport Rapid @ £500
