96 polo 1.4 noise fron nearside front

Good evening, my sons has a 1.4 polo and it has a clicking noise fron the nearside front wheel . it is intermittant and seems to be connected to the wheel turning , it some times happens whe driving in a straight line but is more prevalent when turning right .
We also have had another problem with the thermostat housing ,we have got a new housing and thermostat and temp sender . the engine runs up to temperature at 12 o clock ,when we drive the car the temperature drops to just over 70 and seems to run cool ?
Any pointers or advice with any of these problems greatfolly recieved .

my old polo glx used to run really cool, needle would hardly move, unless it was at idle for any length of time, so i would be too worried about that.
as for the wheel i would get that checked out, could be a bearing, worn bush, maybe even the cv joint if the boot has split and the joint run dry

alright mate i would say its the drive shaft, if so you would need a new one, hope that helps
