    Default audi 80 wont start help – 04-05-2008,06:46 PM
    i have a 95 audi 80 sport the fuel guage does not work

    i thought that one of the sensors on the hose coming out of the head would be the one that did the guage i put 12v down the blue one and there was some sparks now the car will not start. could someone tell me what i have done wrong thanks allot CJ

    Yeah, i hink you just fried your car's ECU ! I would look for a replacement one and remember that it will need codding to your own car ! If you live close to London, i could help !

    i have another audi 80 if i put that ecu in it could i have that programed to the car

    i have fixed it,
    i opened the ecu and found that there was a curcuit broken on the curcuit board so i put a drop of solder on it and the car started fine
