    Hello,

This is my first post. Picked myself up an 02 A4 Avant 3 weeks ago. She looks pretty well, ( I think anyway ), but I think she i s sitting a little high. The wheel are 19 inch so I they may have taken the ride hieght up a little. I am considering installing coilovers to allow me to adjust when I have the dreaded M.O.T. day.

Here is the wagon in queston:

I want to install coilovers insted of lowering spring. Any Ideas of where and what to but would be great.

    Thanks,

    Gerry

I was thinking of doing the same on my saloon, im on 19"s as well with the stock QS suspention, and it bugs me how the front arches have a little more gap above the tyre than the rear, just like they do on yours.

I think either KW Variante 1 or H&R coilovers are your best bet. I'm getting a KW set myself later this summer. If you don't need the extra damping adjustments available with the Variante 2 and 3 I see no point in paying extra for them over the Variante 1.

BTW, what front spoiler do you have on your car?

Beautiful looking Avant youve got there, I'd lose the plates though unless you like giving HM Government money for nothing

Thanks for the comments on the wagon.

I am told the front spoiler is from the Audi Quattro kit. Its as official kit and not a copy which I am told has been fitted very well. It was already like this when I got it so I cant really give you any more info than that.

I will do a search for the variante coilovers to see. Might hold out as my mate is getting something for his in a couple of weeks so I might let the car sit until I see his.

    Gerry

PS. **** the cops I will let them stop me and give me a telling off and then I will change the plates. I think they look well. They make the wagon look a little different. Although I have not seen another avant around that looks anything like it.

    Gerry,

Nice car! As you will see from my recent posts I am about to put my red A4 Avant TDI Sport 130 BHP up for sale. (see details in posts). If you don't mind me asking what did you pay for yours? Mine will be in Autotrader on Thursday this week for £6,995 OVNO. There seems to be a wide variance in prices for these cars. I've seen prices from £5,500 to £8,500 so I took the middile ground!

    Cheers,

    Mitch
