Hello everyone, i was wondering if i could get sum advice on a sunroof.

Firstly i think theres a problem with my sun roof because when accelerating or stopping i can hear the water in the roof,

Second, sometimes it leaks out the sides, or out of my light where my sun visor is.

Any ideas on fixing the problem? or anyone had this problem?

    Cheers guys

open the roof up and look into the corners of the channels, you should see some drain holes, which i believe have pipes attached internally which run down to the door pillars and drain out in the area of the door hinges or there
abouts. they are certainly blocked up by the sound of it. a plastic cable tie, or stiff wire may help unblock them,
    good luck,
    stewy.

I just had a look and i saw two holes in the corners closest to the front of the car and they seem clear!

Are these the ones you are on about?

I did try putting a coat hanger down but no noticable progress

it's just something i read, but it sounds that they would be the ones.
try looking on the door pillars, perhaps try from the other end?
only read about it,never seen it.

get a jug of water and pour it very slowly into the guide channels with the roof open. Wait about 20 seconds then look under car, should be some water either side if the channels are not blocked.

just a thought, but how about a bicycle pump, or foot pump, or if you have access to a compressor, blow either up,or down the holes with an air line.
if that is not possible for you, then go to an independent garage and ask them to do it. it shouldn't cost a fortune to clear the drains.half an hour perhaps, with an air line?
    keep hold,
