What is it with chavs and those miniature motor bike thingies? They could be a good laugh I suppose, but just plain annoying when some oik in full athletic-outfit-yet-never-been-near-a-running-track with a 'lid-head' hairdo (shaved back & sides with a bit on top) is flying round a park on 1!
Anyway, I was walking my dogs the other night (Patterdale terrier & Dobermann) in a local park when a clown closely matching the above description was zipping rnd on a little bike.
Much to my amusement Fred (the Dobermann) took off after him. I've never seen many stones of muscle move so quick! Said chav just could not get away. Luckily for him Fred's a gentle giant (he & my 8 year old daughter are thick as thieves) & he just wanted to play.
Lad on the bike, after nearly soiling himself until reassured he wasn't going to get eaten, said he had it flat out at 35 mph & that Fred looked like he had quite a bit left in him!
Highly entertaining, wonder how he'd fare against a tarted up Corsa with half of Halfords attached to it?!!

(Sorry this turned into a mini-essay!)

They should ban the bloody things (the bikes, not Dobermanns). I was in B&Q the other day and there was a chav riding round on one with his five year old son, an accident waiting to happen.

Yeah, I agree. We used to live just across the river next to the said park, you'd hear the clowns at night zipping about on them, they're really loud. The missus & I used to have fingers crossed that 1 of 'em would deck it into the river, unfortunately it never happened. (at least not when we were about, fingers crossed eh?)

they cant afford a car so thats the best they can do. and like you say then they by a 1.2 corsa / clio / saxo / other heap of crap. and rattle a loud exhaust on to it

remember tho the corsa is the only car in the world which gains 20 bhp from a 6 inch tailpipe and an induction kit so their little 1.2 60ish bhp cars suddenly have 80 yeah .
if only they sat and thought about it theyre prob losing power. ohh well silly little boys
