    Hi,

I don't know the 1.6 engine, but generally the oil pressure drops off with a warm engine compared to cold, if the idle is slow, the oil pressure will be extra low due to this.
If it is still low at normal idle revs then I'd suggest fresh oil and filter, a higher viscosity oil eg 15W-50 grade would probably help.
The low idle could be caused by a vacuum leak, so check the air intake hoses for splits etc and check all the small bore vacuum hoses off the intake manifold.
Other than that it is common for the throttle body to get coated with oily gunge - from the crankcase breather system. If you clean out the insides of the throttle body and throttle butterfly with a clean rag and some carb cleaner/petrol, this may help.
There is often an idle stabiliser valve that is supposed to help control idle speed, yours may not have one or this too could be gunged up?
