Anyone in midlands with CD changer or phatbox

Hi,

Is there anyone in the midlands (or close by eg shropshire) with a Concert I or II and CD changer/phatbox who would be willing to plug my phatbox into their system (1 minute job if changer is in the boot, not sure about glovebox changer).

I spent most of yesterday trying to get this to work but no joy. To determine what the problem is would be very easy if I plugged it into a wired setup that works.

If my phatbox works then I can look at my wires again, if the unit still does not work then it maybe faulty and I can get a refund.

what year is your car ? It should work with any audi stereo 98 on...

Its a 2004 Audi A4.

The IDE controller on the phatbox key may have failed, just need to make sure by process of elimination that the keg is faulty rather than my wiring. I just wanted to try it in similar setup to mine but if anyone else has another audi HU that supports this then it could be tested in that as well.

Problem solved, the thing needed a ground/earth wire attached to the stereo and it began to work.
