    Hi Guys,

I'm looking for someone with VAG-COM and the know how to do the following on an Audi A4 B6:

    1. Auto lock doors after a certain low speed.
    2. Unlock drivers door first then with a second press, all other doors.
    3. Chirp when locking the car.
    4. Interior dash lights on all the time.

Let me know if you can help and I can pay you in Beer!

the first 3 are simple adaptations via vagcom or a diagnostic tool.

number 4 is more than likely going to require an edit of the eeprom (vagtacho or vag can commander will be required)

No, I'm pretty sure I have read that you can change a coding in Coding 17- Insturments to set either nothing lit up, needles only lit up, scala (Numbers) only lit up or both needles and scala lit up.

I will try and hunt out the correct coding for it.

It would be nice if you posted the source, in this case:

Note: Illumination Option 3 works on early B6 A4 models, but not necessarily on some of the later ones.

    Hi Uwe,

I would gladly have posted the source if I had been able to find it, I have a copy of this in notepad hence the lack of reference. Many thanks for putting up the link though, I have now added this to my favourites

And Mucho Gracias Dan for your kind rep donation!! ::
