i have a 51 plate a3, its in good nick but there is one thing which is niggling me, the rubber seal around the aerial is beginning to get old and weatherd. i had heard there is an option to remove the original aerial and place a short 'stubby' aerial in place of the originaland then apparently there is a shark fin style adapter which sits over the stubby aerial and has a strong pad to stick it to the car,

this then gets rid of the standard aerial look at an extert and replaces it with the newly designed shark fin style look

    is this possible to do??

    help appreciated.
