    Great guide, thanks to OP.

Quick (possibly noob) question though, what's the harm in using 1.12W bulbs instead of just plain 1.1W? I oredered some 1.1's and got 1.12's in the post - would they be safe to use do you think?

    Hi Templar
I'm quite new to this forum although its been 5 years now i own an Audi A4 B5 97 and in fact i'm having a dashboard light issue. I've gone through your posts - its really very detailed - thanks to start with .

My issue is about the temperature level and fuel level part of the dashboard only that do not light up although the level indicators themselves are working fine as well as all other parts of the dashboard; revs n other indicators.

I would like to get an idea with regards to what you mentioned about the orange and black type of bulbs.

You said fuel low light indicator use the black type of bulbs which in fact is not my case as the low fuel light indicator does function correctly except the temp and fuel level indicator lights. So i'm guessing the issue i'm having is probably with the orange bulbs type then? And if so I'll have to change all of the orange types?

Could you please confirm this info for me?

    Thanks and Best Regards ,
