    Hey there guys and girls!
i have just become a member on this site and i look forward to using it in the future. i have just purchased a brand new vw polo gti in white...all colour coded and 17" matt black monza wheels and it looks really good (i will be posting pictures soon) anyways...my question to you guys is...
i am very interested in having this car remapped, i have had figures quoting around the 210bhp mark. and for a car that is small and light like this, that should be more than enough....but....i have only trvelled 230miles in the car at the moment. i was wondering if there is a certain milelage the car has to be before it is remapped?? i know that all cars are "bench tested" before going out on sale... but whatever light you can shed on this would be much appritiated and also your previous experiences in this field, pro's and cons etc.
    thanks guys.

If it was me... I would just let the engine and components bed in for around 1-2k miles to start with...

(this comes down to the sticky debate of "should i bed in a new engine"

Plus... once you have the remapp it will feel like a different car again!

I fully agree, and at the same time whilst waiting do your research and find a company that will do exactly what you want.

You will feel like you have 2 different cars the performance will jump so much.
It will be a giant killer for sure I bet you'll surprise a good few people the boy racers especially.

Have fun as I'm sure you will.
