I posted a similar posting to this some time ago but it didnt generate much feedback so I am trying again.

Both of the front seat belts to my cabriolet dont return properly, unless you feed the belt manually. Consequently, they are forever falling out of the car or getting jammed in the doors when I close them !

Being a cabriolet, the seat belt spools are hidden in the back of the car behind the side panels

    Now here are my questions

    1) Can you re-tension a seat belt winder or do you have to replace them ?
    2) How easy it to get at them i.e. how do you remove the side panels at the rear ?

    Cheers!
    Brett
