    Default Audi A4 electrics – 19-12-2006,03:20 PM
    I have an Audi A4 and was wondering where the switch wire would be if there is one? This is usually RED on most other cars, but i have noticed that the Germans have been awkward.

    Can anyone help?

    Are you after an accessory/ignition switched 12v feed?

    We will need to know the age and spec of your car as they vary

    Yes thats it, so when the ignition is switched on there is a live supply.
    its a 2001 model (face lift)

    If you have the Concert I radio cassette fitted, you can pick it up from the back of the radio. It's marked on the radio as S-Kontact and is where the normal permanent feed would be on an ISO block.

    If not you have to get into the fuse box. Not for the faint hearted.
