Central Conv Module not responding on A3

I have a 1997 A3 and have the vag com cable and the software. I get respond from all the controllers but the central conv module. it says no respond from the controller. does anyone have any idea why that happens and i cant access the controller??

Maybe it uses the 'Central Locking' module, and not central convenience?

Thanks for the reply. ive already tried that and its a different module. all VW and Audis should have a central conv module but on mine the actual controller is not responding

It is address 35 Central Locking.

No, a 1997 A3 definitely used 35-Centr. Locks, not 46-Cent. Conv.

I don't think you can have audible arming on that system. What is the chassis year letter wauzzz8L X
